Keith began painting as a teenager, self taught, exhibiting at shows in Marin County, CA just north of San Francisco. Sailor, beach lover & traveler from an early age, his work has always revolved around the water, coastal scenes & of course food. As he moved with his family from one coast to the other, he retained a firm passion for painting.
In recent years, traveling worldwide for his “day job”, he continues to absorb material to feed his need to paint - from Europe to the Caribbean & beyond. Keith captures sweet moments encountered in life – whether a warm salty afternoon at the beach or on the water, a pleasing garden or pastoral landscape, the coziness of a sidewalk café, or simply the sight of a sun filtered glass of bubbling Champaign on the veranda of a wonderful hotel.
His paintings invoke reactions of “I’ve been there!” or “that reminds me of ...” from admirers & customers. Of course, that’s why he paints them, as he has similar memories and emotions that urged him to capture the scene.
